Foundations. The perfect place to begin and gain comfort and confidence. We move from pose to pose at a slower pace to build flexibility, strength & mindfulness, while occasionally pausing to investigate poses & the specifics of alignment. Absolute beginners will enjoy our workshop
Kripalu Yoga for Beginners
(6-class series) – starting September 4th – October 23rd.
LEVEL 1 - 2
Open. These mixed level classes move at a steady pace with intelligent options & variations for all levels to explore & progress in a well rounded & dynamic class. Expect creative sequencing and mindful alignment cues as you deepen your practice both physically and spiritually. Comfort in Level 1 classes is recommended.
Intermediate +. Our yoga playground is designed for experienced yogis. Expect a practice that includes advanced poses, creative sequencing, yoga philosophy & mantra producing powerful and transformative experience.
At STBB our Instructors will work with you one-on-one to ensure you get exactly what you need from each and every class you attend. The more you practice, the more you will grow and see changes.

Seek out our level 1 classes for a slower pace and more focus on the basics of yoga & healthy alignment. Slow Vinyasa, Vinyasa 1 & Gentle Yoga are great fits for those looking for a mindful pace that welcomes beginners.

Bring balance to the hectic pace of the city in one of our soothing classes! For super chill classes - we offer Flow & Stretch, and Gentle Yoga both these classes will bring you a heightened sense of well being & peace.
Energize, strengthen & tone
Our faster paced classes are athletic in nature helping you build strength, confidence & grace in your body and mind. Try our Bodyflow or Vinyasa Yoga. Our level 1 Vinyasa or Slow Vinyasa class will prepare you to venture into these offerings!
Flexibility & stretching
In every yoga class you will have ample opportunity to increase healthy flexibility in both body and mind. Depending on your mood and intention you may enjoy our faster paced classes like Vinyasa or Bodyflow or seek to dive into more relaxing opportunities like Gentle or Flow & Stretch class to practice more seated and reclining poses with longer held stretches.
Healing from pain & disease
Our restorative classes such as Stretch and Flow, Kripalu Yoga, and Gentle Flow encourage the mind and body to gently stretch and move in ways that encourage healing. Look for our Yoga Reset Workshop or any of our therapeutic workshops that pay special attention to the structural nature of poses so your body can naturally realign itself in healthy patterns.

Slow Vinyasa Flow
Good choice for beginners. Poses can be refined and strengthened, without feeling rushed into the next move, next breath, or next pose. Slow flow allows a person to become familiar with his or her body, create a reflective pause, and create the time to go inward. Slow Vinyasa Yoga is a therapeutic dance of moving meditation
Good choice for beginners. Level 1 is a slower-paced flow class geared towards those new to yoga or preferring a slightly gentler class. Time is spent breaking down sun salutations and other poses fundamental to a Vinyasa practice. Props and modifications offered for proper alignment and ease in the postures.
Vinyasa All Levels
Suitable for all levels but those new to yoga should start with Vinyasa Level 1. As you mindfully integrate movement and breath, this Vinyasa class is aimed at the seasoned beginner who has Level 1 experience and intermediate practitioners who are ready to expand their yoga practice. These classes begin to encourage practitioners to explore getting upside-down and may incorporate some arm balances and deeper backbends. We recommend that students seeking to take these classes feel confident, safe, and strong throughout classic sun salutations.
Good choice for beginner & new to Yoga.
An effective Gentle Yoga class provides a safe, effective, compassionate, non-competitive environment that is welcoming to all. ... Gentle yoga is appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice. We will also offer a glass of Red/White Wine or Non Alcoholic beverage to help you further relax during class. - Mats provided, but you are welcomed to bring a pillow to support meditation.
Flow & Stretch
Suitable for all levels. Good choice for beginners. Flow & Stretch is a combination of vinyasa flow and yin yoga. A blend of yang/yin; the first portion of class is a slower-paced flow through sun salutations and standing postures, geared towards those new to yoga or preferring a gentler practice. Followed with the passive long holds of yin to target joints, connective tissues, and fascia. Yin poses are floor based and supported with props to create as little effort while holding for 2-5 minutes.
The practice of Yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic balance that brings the body into a state of harmony. This form of practice aims to reduce stress levels and improve your mental well-being.
Active beginners are welcome to join this multi-level class. Both modifications and challenges to the poses are available to make the class appropriate for varying levels of practice
